Significant intellectual capacities, rich experience of interaction with government structures and international agencies allow CER to provide the government of Uzbekistan with analytical materials and recommendations necessary for decision-making to deepen market reforms, to increase competitiveness and effectiveness of national economy, and thus to maintain living standards growth. So, what issues of socio-economic development in Uzbekistan do you think the most actual to concentrate attention of the team of sociologists, economists and political science specialists at CER in 2005? Well of course, our team as well as cooperating with CER government structures, representatives of private business, NGOs, UNDP, the World Bank and our foreign and international development partners have their own judgment in this account.
